The launch of the Kia Sedona took place on 15th April 2008 and demonstration vehicles have been present at various Mobility Shows throughout 2008.
A driver version with fully automated door and ramp will be added shortly, further details to follow.
WAV-EVOLUTION is a joint venture from 2 of the United Kingdom's most innovative and respected vehicle conversion specialists.
Aspect Conversions were established in 1998 in a back bedroom of a family house. The company is now established as one of the largest suppliers of wheelchair accessible vehicles in the UK.
Winners of Motability's Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Supplier of the Year 2007, Aspect Conversions continue to invest heavily in the design and production of high quality affordable vehicles. With emphasis on customer service and feedback developed design, each vehicle is developed continually to reflect customer requirements throughout it's production life.
Sirus Automotive identified that a compact, easy to use and well designed drive from wheelchair vehicle was needed in a market full of van conversions and sucessfully launched their Kan-Go drive-from-wheelchair conversion to much acclaim.
Within a short space of time demand for the vehicle became huge, with the requirement for expansion into larger production facilities and the employment of a skilled team was necessary. Sirus now market 2 different versions of the Renault Kangoo with the Up Front passenger and drive from wheelchair models.
With the joint expertise of each company, combined with a large amount of information obtained from customers at each and every vehicle demonstration, both companies had built up a list of features that would build the ultimate in wheelchair accessible vehicles.
Through joint development and shared research, the project has enabled them to design and build the future of wheelchair accessible transport.
